Spooky by Day, Scarey at Night

Halloween fun by day 10am – 5pm


As well as their piggy tractor ride, vintage carousel, Rampage roller coaster and twister ride, you can enjoy lots of Halloween fun by day:

To name a few day-time attractions there are Halloween Characters around the park, Haunted Hayrides, Arachnophobia Rides, Lakeside Train Rides, Haunted House, Pantomines, Spooky Castle, Pumpkin Carving competition, Fancy Dress with the Pumpkin Princess, Singing Pumpkins, Haunted Gallery

Scarey by Night 6pm – 10pm

Double, toil and trouble, fire burn and caldron bubble… at night time the witches, ghosts and ghouls come out to play. You have to be a brave soul to go through the spooky castle at night.  Jump scares, special effects and live actors will have you screaming out loud.

Please note that after 6pm live actors, strobe lighting and sound effects and is not suitable for young children or those of a sensitive nature

The Milky Way

This Halloween at The Miky Way, families are invited to enroll in their very own special School for Witches and Wizards and to dress for the occasion of course!

Aswell as their usual attractions there will be lots of extra Halloween activities to enjoy – all designed to be fun rather than scarey!

Fancy dress Competitions, themed show and special spooky swamp dodgems sessions, plus your little horrors will also be able to take part in wand making, spell writing & casting, broomstick riding (for the little ones and potion making.

Halloweden

The Eden Project, Bodelva, Par PL24 2SG

It’s Halloweden... but not as you know it. This half-term, amongst many many other activities, discover if you’re brave enough to take on Roald Dahl’s most terrible villains, as you encounter themes from five of the best-selling books. It’s a spooktacular special that will delight children and grown-ups alike.

Get involved in magical craft activities & dare to be scared & follow the trail around Eden and collect the things the Witch needs to cast her spell.  Visit their website for the full line up! 

Creepy Camel Creek Halloweek

Camel Creek Adventure Park, Wadebridge, PL27 7RA

Spooky fun is in store throughout the week. Scare zones, rides, magic shows, the Grim Reaper ghost train. Halloween themed crafts, bobbing for apples and the Camel Creek Witch’s Grotto – its not to be missed!

ALSO on evenings of Tuesday 24th Thursday 27th October, Join in with the Bug Ball . Revel in the party spirit as the friendly folk of the park crank up the music for children to enjoy an evening of spooky disco activities.

Halloween at Lappa Valley

Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Near Newquay, TR8 5LX

Enjoy a week of family friendly Halloween fun! Alongside all the regular great attractions will be a Spooks Trail, children’s Halloween quiz, spooky colouring and a prize for everyone in fancy dress. All activities are included in the standard ticket price.

Shriek Week

Spooktacular fun for all the family with a shriek week trail, a creepy crawlies talk, spookie makeovers at the face-painting station , Halloween enrichment for the animals and feast on Spooktacular specials in the Lemur Café.  

Monday 30 October – Friday Night – watch the frightfully spooky stories performed at the Zoo, led by supernatural story tellers. Enjoy a hot chocolate and a stroll around the zoo at night, lit by torch light. Booking is essential

RHS Garden Rosemoor

So much freaky fun happening this half term at RHS Garden Rosemoor. Come and join us and create your very own creepy crawly and at the end of your fun week, why not meet us in our Garden Room where you can have spookily good fun carving pumpkins.  Follow the pumpkin trail around the gardens,

Half Term Halloween Owl Prowl Trail

Halloween Tours at Pendents Castle

26th October 5.30 - 10.oopm

A terrifying treat just for Halloween! Join us on an eerie evening tour for an after-hours journey back into the castle's creepy past. Meet our spine-tingling storytellers and discover tales of ghostly apparitions, dastardly deeds, and ghoulish goings-on. Not for the faint hearted! 

Family Tours at 5.30pm and 6.30pm (you must be 5 years old or older to take part).
Adult Tours at 7.30pm and 8.30pm (you must be 16 years old or over to take part).
