2nd December

Christmas Lights at Clovelly

Christmas is a magical time at Clovelly.  The promenade starts down the cobbles with a local brass band leading the procession down to the harbour and accompanies Christmas carols sung by a local choir.

There'll be a hog roast, hot dogs, Christmas grog and other refreshments available at the Harbour and Lifeboat Station and Father Christmas will make a surprise visit.

2nd December

The Castle Bude Christmas Fair 

The Castle has been hosting a Christmas Fair since 2009. From stocking fillers to perfect presents, seasonal shopping from stalls offering local arts, crafts, food and produce. Café Limelight will be open throughout the day

2nd December

Marhamchurch Village Christmas Lights

The Village's Christmas Tree will be switched on then join the villagers in the Village Hall for refreshments and also Children's entertainer Magic Martin! (Starts at 4pm)

Winter Festival - Eden Project Cornwall

Spread Christmas cheer with an unmissable visit to Father Christmas and his elves, get your skates on at the Eden ice rink, and meander through festive plant displays in the Mediterranean Biome.

Their dazzling Festival of Light and Sound returns. Watch as Eden’s winter landscape is transformed with stunning new light projections, dramatic soundscapes and live music for 2017.

Padstow Christmas Market

Embrace the festive season with a trip to Padstow’s annual Christmas Festival and see this Cornish fishing village come alive with celebrity chefs, culinary delights and festive fun.

Sugar & Spice Christmas Grotto

This year, as well as meeting Father Christmas and the Cornish Piskies, we are looking forward to introducing you to our Scandinavian friends, Tomte & Astrid. This Nordic gnome and his helpers have hitched a lift all the way from Norway to Cornwall on Father Christmas’ sleigh so they can spend the holidays with their cousins, the Cornish Piskies. They promised Father Christmas that, in return for their free ride, they’d help him add some Scandinavian flavour to Bedruthan’s Christmas Grotto along with some Tomte tomfoolery.  Booking essential.

12th - 20th December

The Winter Gift Fayre, Truro

Building on from what was the Victorian Christmas Market The Winter Gift Fayre aims to become one of Cornwall’s most well-known Christmas events, with theming that encapsulates the spirit of winter magic and Christmas festivities with decorations and warm twinkling lights.

The Winter Gift Fayre will offer quality products throughout, visitors will enjoy a wonderful selection of craft, jewellery, art, food, drink and much more.

8th & 9th, 15th & 16th,  20th - 23rd December

Christmas at The Milky Way Adventure Park

Father Christmas and his elves will be visiting in the magical grotto. Children will also receive a free gift included in the standard cost to enter the park and can have a go at gingerbread decorating!   In addition to the extra festive fun, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained at this multi award winning attraction this Christmas including the dodgems, Clone Zone, train ride, rollercoasters and Timewarp play area. Younger children will particularly love the innovative Little Stars play centre, with its space themed soft play, sensory room for babies, dressing-up and role play pizzeria.

Santa at Lappa Valley Steam Railway

At Santa’s magical Christmas grotto children will meet and receive a specially selected gift from Santa himself!

Mousehole Christmas Lights

Mousehole, Cornwall, TR19 6PG

The Christmas lights in Mousehole draw many thousands of visitors each year. Truly a stunning sight, with floating displays of lights in the harbour and around streets filled with the aroma of mulled wine and festive food - Light switch on 15th December at 6.30pm.

25th December

Christmas Day swim at Bude ...

Join the locals, and fellow holiday makers in the famous Annual Bude SLSC Christmas Day Swim - a and plunge into the sea ..Over 500 people generally take part. It is a fantastic community event, a wonderful way to start your Christmas celebration (beware no wetsuits allowed!).  Starts around 11am.

26th December

Boxing Day Barbecue, Clovelly

Boxing Day Barbecue on the quay at Clovelly.  With FREE entrance into the village all day, why not have a walk on the estate then go along to the barbecue where there will be live music, mulled wine, and even a treasure hunt if you are up to it.  It should make the perfect follow-up to your Christmas Day.

The barbecue runs from 12:00 to 3 pm.
